The area has long been used by the Viet Cong to infiltrate food and supplies. Left to right, are: Private (Pte) Colin McDonald of Mackay, Qld; Pte David House of Gumdale, Qld; Corporal Joe Braumberger of Townsville, Qld. Second from left is a Vietnamese National Policeman.
