Wet jungles and long patrols can cause many foot problems for soldiers in Vietnam. Medic, Private (Pte) Eric 'Doc' Pearson, 24, from Chifley, ACT, runs an expert eye over the feet of soldiers of A Company, 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR), during operations in the north west of Phuoc Tuy Province. On the right is Pte Peter Wood, 20, from Kingston, Qld, and in the background is Pte Garry Johnston, 21, from Kangaroo Island, SA.
