South Vietnam. August 1970. Sergeant John van Hattem of Healesville, Vic, helps a three-year-old Vietnamese girl select a new dress from one of nine tea chests of new and freshly drycleaned used clothes which were sent from Australia. The clothes came from people in Australia after Sergeant van Hattem wrote to his wife to say the children at the Om Phong orphanage were badly in need of clothes.
