A conference on the Australian experience of captivity in the 20th century

This conference, jointly hosted by the Australian National University and the Australian War Memorial, and supported by the Department of Veterans' Affairs, will gather renowned historians, veterans and family members to explore an aspect of the Australian military experience that is rarely examined – captivity.

Speakers will present new research and insights into the experiences of more than 34,000 Australians who were prisoners of war during the First World War, the Second World War and the Korean War.

Registration fee: $75.00 per day / Student concession $30.00 per day
