| Scope note | This term should only be linked to objects that are generic in timing. It is for objects that don't relate to a particular conflict, chronological period or peacekeeping event. The object in question should be relevant to and represented in all Australian Military commitments (including colonial commitments) from 1788 to the present day. This term should not be applied to records that are relevant to only a handful (say 5 or 6??) of conflict terms.
