Make a booking

Bookings are essential for all school groups visiting the Memorial, whether you are choosing a facilitated program led by Memorial staff or a teacher guided visit.

Changes and cancellations

Cancellations or changes in numbers need to be made in writing no less than 5 working days prior to visiting.

Ratio

Accompanying adults are free of charge. Students must be supervised at all times. Please ensure a ratio of at least one accompanying adult to 15 students.

Behaviour

Please remind students about appropriate behaviour at the Memorial. Teachers have duty of care and responsibility for their group.

Backpacks, food and drink

Please leave all food, drinks and backpacks on your coach as there is limited storage space. Bottled water and medication may be carried into the galleries.

Pencil and pens

To protect the Memorial's collection, pencils, rather than pens, should be used in the galleries if necessary.

Lunches

Pre-ordered breakfasts, lunches and dinners are available from Poppy's cafĂ©. For further information call (02) 6262 7380. You are welcome to use the picnic areas behind the Memorial, on the base of Mt Ainslie, or beside Poppy's cafe.

Last Post Ceremony

If you would like to attend the Last Post Ceremony, please ensure that you note this in the "special comments" when you book online.
