Messerschmitt Bf 110
The twin-engine Bf 110 had mixed results as a heavy fighter-bomber. However, its nose-mounted armament, or the upward-firing cannon fitted to some versions, made it a deadly night-fighter. Radar-equipped versions became the main enemy weapon against the British night bombers.
