In 2014–15 the Memorial will tour a small travelling exhibition that showcases photographs of Anzac drawn from an extraordinary private collection assembled during the Gallipoli campaign.
After spending over three weeks during October 2011 talking to Australian servicemen and women in Afghanistan, Ben Quilty felt an overwhelming need to tell their stories.

Behind the front lines of the Somme, Vignacourt was a staging point, casualty clearing station and recreation area for troops. Captured on glass, printed into postcards and posted home, these photographs enabled Australian soldiers to maintain a fragile link with loved ones in Australia.
