Description
Collection relating to the Second World War service of Major Leonard Armstrong Fell. Collection consists of a Wartime log (diary, September 1943 - March 1945), three pages of handwritten diary notes, and a Prisoner of War identification card with photograph. The Wartime log which was issued to prisoners, contains Fell's personal record of capture, political commentary, newspaper cuttings, pay slips (POW), German and Italian money and other ephemera. The three pages of diary notes refer to Tobruk, just days prior to his capture.
