Citations 2 'Lt/Col TUCKER commanded the 2/23 Aust Inf bn during the Finschhafen operation. By his determined and resourceful leadership during the Satelberg campaign and the subsequnet pursuit of the enemy to Sio, was in large measure responsible for the efficient role his battalion played. He was constantly with the most forward elements of his battalion and the complete disregard he showed for his personal safety inspired the confidence of the men under his command.'
