McPhee, Charles C (Sergeant b.1887 - d.1957)
Description
Diaries describe voyage to England, life at Salisbury Plains, active service in France and capture at Dernancourt. Prisoner of war diary details experiences at several camps, work, church services and deaths of prisoners. Released after the armistice, McPhee then assists in the YMCA hut at Weymouth until his return to Australia. (See also PR00085).
