I Was A Rat - Tobruk 1941
The personal experiences of a member of the 2/4th A.G.H. during the Siege of Tobruk in 1941.
Rupert Goodman was a teacher who enlisted for service on 1 July 1940. He was eventually drafted as a nursing and ward orderly with the 2/4 Australian General Hospital at Puckapunyal in Victoria, a unit in which he served during the Siege of Tobruk, and later in Jerusalem, Ceylon, Redbank and Labuan.
I was a rat - Tobruk 1941 is based on Goodman's personal diary, and includes personal photos and images from the Memorial's archives.
