Bear: Welcome Home bear, First World War 1918

Limited Edition SHOP:2004402018

Lucky to be returning home at long last, the “Welcome Home” bear reminds us of the service and sacrifice paid by many Australian soldiers during the First World War. The bear is dressed in uniform, complete with boots, slouch hat featuring a Rising Sun badge, and military insignia(including collar badges, Anzac "A" badges, Australian shoulder titles, unit colour patches, rank insignia, overseas service chevron, good conduct stripes and wound stripes) representative of those worn by returned servicemen during 1918.

Produced in a limited edition of 100, each bear is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The “Welcome Home” bear stands 44 cm tall and comes in a clear presentation box.

Not suitable for children under 3 years (small removable parts).

A donation is made from the sale of each bear to Soldier On, who support Australia’s physically and psychologically wounded. Founded in 2012, Soldier On work to enhance recovery, inspire communities and empower Australia’s wounded, giving those who have served our country the dignity they deserve and the chance to do and be whatever they choose.
