Images from 1916: set of 10 posters

Australian War Memorial SHOP:9348980002272

In 1916 Australian forces fought campaigns on the Western Front and in the Middle East. On the home front the first conscription referendum was narrowly defeated and the Australian Comforts Fund was established to support our troops overseas.

This poster set is gathered from the Memorial’s unique collection. Included are images of the Western Front, the light horse, and life on the home front. A great visual reference tool for students of all ages.

10 x individual posters, A3 size, measure 29.7 x 42 cm.
