Cap: Royal Australian Air Force rondel

Stay sun-smart throughout summer with this stylish cap featuring the Royal Australian Air Force rondel.

The rondel, with the red kangaroo atop a white background encircled in a blue outer ring, was adopted by the RAAF on 2 July 1956. Interestingly the kangaroo always faces left, except when displayed on an aircraft or vehicle (when the kangaroo is oriented according to the front end of the craft or car).

This machine-stitched cap is made from a heavy brushed cotton in a gun-metal grey. The embroidered rondel is located on the front of the cap, with a printed 'Air Force' logo on the left side and stamped metal 'Australian War Memorial' logo on the right side. The cap is fully adjustable with a velcro closure at the rear.

Size: Adult - one size fits all.

Care instructions: Cool hand wash only.
