The Battle of Fire Support Bases Coral/Balmoral


Marking the 40th anniversary of Coral/Balmoral, this DVA publication describes the series of attacks launched by North Vietnamese forces against Australian troops in May 1968. Twenty six Australians were killed during the fighting. Estimates suggest that over 300 North Vietnamese soldiers died. The text is accompanied by dramatic black-and-white and colour photographs.
