Greg Bathgate

This book constructively examines the final resting place of the Australian Cruiser HMAS Sydney which was sunk with all hands after engaging the disguised German raider HSK Kormoran on November 19, 1941. None of the Sydney's complement of 645 men survived and for over 60 years, their families have searched for the truth about events which caused the Sydney's' demise and the location of the grave site. Published in 2007, prior to the discovery of the locations of both the Sydney and Kormoran. Soft cover, illustrated, 205 pages.
