P-51D Mustang with Australian markings
1:72 scale plastic model kit
The Mustang is widely regarded as the most successful fighter aircraft of the Second World War. It first entered service in October 1941, and following a number of refinements the Mustang IV (P-51D) appeared in June 1943 with its distinctive "teardrop" canopy. The Mustang was used by 3 Squadron RAAF in late 1944, and then by 77 Squadron in a ground-attack role in the early months of the Korean War. This plastic model kit features fully engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit interior and authentic Australian markings.
Length when complete 13.2 cm. Glue and paints not included. Suitable for modellers aged 14 upwards.
