The Iroquois helicopter is synonymous with the Vietnam War and is one of the best known rotor-blade aircraft in the world. Designed by Bell in the late 1950s, the Iroquois was used extensively by Australian and U.S. forces during the Vietnam conflict. (The helicopter was already known by its nickname "Huey", which refers to the model number UH.) The first Iroquois helicopters entered Australian service in 1962. This highly detailed 1:48 scale plastic model kit includes decals for an RAAF version.
