Join special guest speaker Nigel Allsopp as he discusses the roles that animals continue to play in military operations.

Nigel Allsopp is an author and expert on war and service animals. He has worked to ensure the deeds and sacrifices of animals are remembered. Nigel has lectured at institutions such as Sandhurst Military Academy in the United Kingdom, the Australian War Memorial and the New Zealand National Museum. He has written 14 books, including Cry Havoc - the history of war dogs. Nigel was awarded the Returned & Services League of Australia ANZAC of the Year Award in 2017 which recognises the efforts and achievements of Australians who have given service to the community in a positive, selfless and compassionate manner.
