“Roses are red, violets are blue, flowers say more than ‘I love you’.” During the First World War, Australian soldiers sent thousands of embroidered silk postcards to their loved ones at home. Join a member of the Research Centre to learn about the symbolism of the flowers stitched into these small but beautiful works of art.
