Galleries by level
Our galleries explore Australia's involvement in major conflicts and help to tell our country's continuing story of service, sacrifice and military history.
We also regularly feature special exhibitions that are on display for a limited time.

Sensory enhancements
All galleries feature low lighting and immersive soundscapes, including voices, music and battle sounds.
The Vietnam War exhibit features the Iroquois helicopter 'Helibourne Assault' sound and light show, starting 15 minutes past and 15 minutes to the hour.

Temporary gallery closures
The Memorial will remain open for visitors as we expand our galleries. Early construction work commenced in 2020 and is scheduled for completion in 2028.
