From the Entrance Foyer, take the stairs or lift to Level 1, and follow the signs to Anzac Hall.
Spread across three expansive levels, Anzac Hall focuses mainly on Australia’s commitments to the Middle East, Afghanistan and peacekeeping operations.
What's on display
Explore new and returning exhibits, including:
- Australians in Bomber Command 1939-45 – honouring the Royal Australian Air Force officers who served in Bomber Command in the Second World War, and featuring G for George, the Lancaster Bomber.
- Conflict in the Middle East from 1990 – displaying more than 500 objects from Australia's involvement in the first Gulf War, Iraq War and the fight against ISIS in Northern Iraq and Syria, and featuring an F/A-18A Hornet that served in Iraq and Syria.
- Australian Peacekeeping from 1947 – showcasing the stories of over 45,000 Australian police and military personnel.
- Sydney Harbour Under Attack: 1942 – featuring the Japanese Midget Submarine
- Chinooks in Afghanistan – featuring the CH-47D Chinook helicopter
- Tarin Kowt Wall – featuring messages and signatures from hundreds of personnel who were deployed to the Middle East.
- Operation Kudu: Supporting Ukraine – a photo exhibition of the Australian Defence Force's 2023 mission to train Ukrainian forces.
