Bridge of HMAS Brisbane in the Conflicts 1945 to today galleries

For the first time, visitors to the Memorial can stand on the bridge of a ship that saw active service in major recent conflicts.

The complete bridge from HMAS Brisbane has been installed at the back of the Conflicts 1945 to today galleries, and a glass passageway links it to the main building. The bridge is the Memorial’s largest naval relic.

HMAS Brisbane served in the Vietnam War, the First Gulf War and later with the UN Multinational Interception Force. The bridge display features a special multimedia presentation.
