Probably in Netherland East Indies waters. At anchor. The Dutch cruiser Tromp was a unit of the Dutch naval forces commanded from Batavia in the Netherlands East Indies during 1942. She took part in naval operations in conjunction with Australian, British and United States naval forces against Japanese naval and ground forces throughout 1942 and later operated with RAN ships in escorting ships carrying Australian troops to the New Guinea area.
