Alderdice, Arthur Gladstone (Corporal, b.1881 - d.1916)
Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 2101 Corporal Arthur Gladstone Alderdice, 2 Battalion, Egypt, Gallipoli and France, 1915-1916. Collection consists of a notebook with diary entries for the period 23 April 1915 to 30 July 1916 covering landing at Gallipoli and service in France. Cpl Alderdice died on 15 August 1916 from wounds received in the previous month.

Husband of Ethel C Alderdice of 'Cottesloe', Johnson St., Chatswood, New South Wales. Native of Beechworth, Victoria.
