Description
Collection relating to the service of Lieutenant Colonel Gerald Eugene MacDonald Stuart, DSO, 3rd Australian Light Horse Brigade Field Ambulance, Middle East, 1918. Collection consists of a Field Message Book (Army book 153) used as a diary. The diarist is not named, but the contents and handwriting indicate it is the diary of Lt Col Stuart, DSO, who was (at the time the diary was kept) the commanding officer of 3rd Australian Light Horse Brigade Field Ambulance.
