Norgard, William (Sapper, b.1890 - d.1950)
Description
Collection relating to the service of 18563 Sapper William Norgard, 14th Reinforcements, 4 Division Signal Company, AIF, at sea, 1917. Collection consists of a typescript transcription (carbon copy) of a diary compiled by Sapper Norgard covering the period 3 August 1917 to 2 October 1917. The collection is notable for Norgard's description of life aboard HMAT Themistocles and her passage through the Panama Canal in August 1917.
