Bell, Algernon F (Private, 59th Bn b.1891 - d.1916)
Description
Typed extracts from diary written by 3239 Pte Algernon F Bell, whilst serving with 59 Battalion, AIF. Entries start 10 October 1915 and are mostly brief and mentioning daily movements. The final entry on 19 July 1916 notes Bell's wounding in the arm and leg during the Battle of Fromelles, before he died five days later.
