Description
American Office of War Information poster No. 78 urging citizens to be mindful of sharing information. During the war national security was a major concern and any information shared or spoken to loudly about details such as troop movements could cause major catastrophes. This poster says 'Don't discuss troop movements, ship sailings, war equipment'.
The portrait is of 'Uncle Sam', who is representational figure of the federal government of the United States of America, and has come to be symbolic of the United States of America.
