Description
Victorian recruiting poster, using the motif of a telegram sent by 'The Allies' in Europe to the men of Australia. The telegram requests: 'Fifty Thousand Men Same as Splendid Samples already here... Empire has need of them.' The text on the telegram imitates the cursive script of handwriting. The 'telegram' is printed in black ink on a pink ink rectangular background. The title occupies the top left corner and the bottom right corner.
