Bradwell, Louisa (b.1905 - d.1986)

Collection relating to Louisa Bradwell, Australian Comforts Fund, Second World War. Collection comprises two notebooks with details of servicemen to whom Louisa sent socks and balaclavas during the war. The information includes addresses and separate notes about soldiers who were killed in action. The second notebook contains a list of women involved in the war comforts work and details about the wool purchased, the quantity taken and number of items knitted per month. Also included are some typed knitting patterns used by the women.
