Studio portrait of 2701 Private Sidney Charles O'Keeffe, 15th Battalion, of Dirranbandi, Qld. An overseer prior to enlisting on 17 June 1915, he embarked from Brisbane, Qld, aboard HMAT Kyarra on 16 August 1915. He was killed in action in France on 9 August 1916.
