Graves with original markers in Egypt, including 1255 Trooper (Tpr) Reginald Edward Maywood; 3479 Tpr James Hardy Fazio and 1227 Tpr Alfred Charles (Jack) Kirk. Tpr Maywood of 10th Australian Light Horse Regiment, a teamster and orchardist of Maylands, WA who was born at Surbiton, England. Tpr Maywood enlisted on 6 July 1915 and embarked from Fremantle aboard HMAT Hororata on 1 October 1915. He died of wounds on 10 May 1918 in Palestine aged 25 years. Tpr Fazio of 7th Australian Light Horse Regiment, of Mosman, NSW. Tpr Fazio enlisted on 28 May 1917 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Commonwealth on 2 November 1917. He was killed in action on 7 May 1918 in Palestine aged 19 years. Tpr Kirk of the 2nd Australian Light Horse Regiment, enlisted on 20 January 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Ayrshire on 1 September 1915. He was killed in action on 11 April 1918 in Palestine aged 27 years.
