Informal portrait of the Bowd family of Mt Gambier, SA. Mrs Henri Iona Mabel Greta Bowd (Omie); SX13191 Private (Pte) William Rex Bowd; their sons Colin Joseph Bowd and Douglas Rex (Jim) Bowd. Pte Bowd, aged 27, died on 5 November 1942 as a result of wounds received in action at El Alamein.
