Collection relating to the Second World War service of NX12595 Lieutenant Colonel Charles Groves Wright Anderson VC, MC, 2/19 Battalion, Malaya, 1942.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Consists of a hand drawn map and explanatory documents related to Anderson's experiences of the Battle of Muar and the fighting at Parit Sulong in Malaya in January 1942. The two explanatory documents were written in later life (circa 1980s) and ostensibly in response to writing drafts by author John Miller. The collection also includes a short, handwritten letter from Anderson to Miller in 1984, thanking the latter for his recent letter of sympathy.
