Sketchbook containing 56 pages of drawings from his service during the First World War
- Scrapbook leaf with four sketches; verso: extended inscription with drawing
Description
Sketch on a leaf torn from a small sketchpad, depicting a soldier peeping around from behind a stone building structure, or it could perhaps be sandbags, as if to see if it's safe to come out. An alternative title could be 'Little [illeg.] 'ome in the west.'
