Description
Two panels from a cartoon strip, commenting on war artists at work on paintings during action. Gurney produced the comic strip 'Bluey and Curley' initially for the magazine, 'Picture News' in 1940. It was then transferred to the 'Melbourne Sun' where it was syndicated to newspapers all over Australia and also Canada, New Zealand and New Guinea. This cartoon was published in an edition of The Sun, on 26 February 1944.
