Description
Depicts a portrait of Flying Garry Munro Blumer 413517, 450 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force, who was shot down at one time before the German line North of Pescara. He was fortunate in meeting Italian partisans who assisted him to join a party which got through the German lines over the snow covered mountains in the Eastern part of the Appenines. He reached the squadron a couple of weeks after he was shot down.
