Fall of Bardia 1940
Description
The advance of the 2nd AIF from Salum to Bardia with shots of infantry advancing and Australian and British Artillery Bombardment. Italian soldiers surrendering, abandoned Italian equipment and enemy dead litter the desert. Personnel identified are: Lieutenant (Lieut) C N Swinton, 2/2 Infantry Battalion, Padre C A Read, 6th Division, Private (Pte) J C Lobban, Pte O'Sullivan, Pte W Thompson, 2/2 Infantry Battalion, Lieut B F Dawson, 6th Division Engineers, Sergeant Johnson, Corporal (Cpl) Potter, Cpl Malcolm, Lance Cpl Muller, Pte O W Wood 2/2 Infantry Battalion.
