Description
Interviews with five 1914-1918 war veterans. In order of appearance are Mr Russell Stokes, 2 Battalion, Mr William Gunn, 2 Battalion, Mr Charles Sayer, 2 Battalion, Mr Arthur Carson, 2 Battalion and Mr Patterson. Mr Stokes speaks of his service in France and at Pozieres in particular. The sound is disjointed because of the cuts taken from this scene. Mr Gunn speaks about Ypres. Mr Carson speaks briefly on the hardships at Gallipoli and how he won the DCM in France where he brought in four wounded men when acting as a stretcher bearer.
