Collection relating to the Second World War service of VX24840 Warrant Officer Class 1 Frank Dowrick Bishop, Headquarters Royal Australian Artillery 9 Australian Division, Palestine, 1941.
Collection consists of one original handwritten two-page letter written by Warrant Officer Bishop to Edna, dated 5th January 1941. The letter thanks Edna for the socks she had knitted, and tells her about the customs and life he has seen while serving in Palestine.
