Description
Diaries and journal describe naval battle off Java and sinking of HMAS Perth and USS Houston. Covers experiences as a POW in Java and Singapore, at numerous camps on the Burma Railway and finally in Japan. Work, conditions, food, medical conditions are discussed. Also included are a typed and handwritten account of his experiences.
