Description
Journal describing embarkation from Australia, sea voyage to Egypt via Colombo and Aden, training at Mena and Heliopolis. Lands at Gallipoli in May, describes digging trenches, shellfire, shortage of water, armistice of 24 May, turkish attacks, sinking of the `Triumph', snipers, lice. Rayment worked in 3rd Light Horse Brigade office.
