Description
Lee-Enfield .22 Short Mk II Training Rifle. Receiver stamped right side VR ENFIELD 1892 II and left side ENFIELD 1913 Sht 22 II. Butt tang is stamped 10. The rifle has been converted to .22 inch calibre by replacing the barrel. The fore-end has been shortened, the backsight is that of a Mk III S.M.L.E., and it has a modified Mk I S.M.L.E. rear handguard with the sight protector fitted. The front sight has straight protector 'wings' and the long range sights have been removed.
