Description
Recording of the instrumental piece titled 'March: all the trumpets', created as part of the Music and the First World War project. Music composed by H W Hamilton. Produced by Chris Latham, with Colin Grisdale on cornet and Alan Hicks on piano. This recording was made at Flat Rock Studios, Sydney, on 23 December 2018. The work is performed in the spirit of the time with some changes made for the modern ear.
Chris Latham, producer of this recording, notes: 'This is very attractive material. It is a march with variety. The second section is very good.'
