The singer Miss Gladys Moncrieff presenting a cheque for thirteen thousand six hundred and thirty one pounds sixteen shillings and two pence, the proceeds of the "Katinka" matinee performance at His Majesty's Theatre, to the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Councillor T. S. Nettlefold, OBE. Nine hundred and eighteen pounds are for the Centaur War Nurses Memorial with the balance to go to the Appeal for Totally Blinded Servicemen and Women.
