Description
Laayoune, Western Sahara. View from the Lakouara Hotel (more commonly known as "The Cockroach") which housed Australian personnel working as part of MINURSO (United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara). It shows a multi storey building which provided accommodation of varying standards used to house civilian personnel in the area. A wadi can be seen in the background.
