Collection relating to Neil Davis, war cameraman and correspondent
Original caption: "On the set of a Khmer movie with my sweetie - Som Van Sou Dany (nickname - my nickname - for her was Nakrou 'lady teacher', she was also a part-time teacher at a Buddhist pagoda school). I always teased Dany about her constantly smiling face - so in this photograph she is in the midst of (simulated) lang-dog look. Her leading man (Van Vanak) in the movie is with her."
Photographs relating to Neil Davis, war cameraman and correspondent. This collection was collated by author Tim Bowden in the research and publication of his biographical book "One Crowded Hour - Neil Davis, Combat Cameraman 1934-1985". Captions on the reverse of the photographs are a mix of comments from Davis, Bowden and/or the original owner of the photograph (often unidentified).
