Description

Burma. C. 1944-03. Roads, bridges, railways, camps and other strategic targets held by the Japanese are being pounded night and day by aircraft of the RAF, many of which are flown by RAAF pilots. A Hurri-bomber pilot, right, just back from a low level attack on Japanese jungle positions presents a piece of tree which got lodged in his aircraft's wing, to his flight mechanic.
